OUR FIRST "DATE"
Our first date was 4 days long! I had never done anything like this before. Teresa took a couple of days off and rented a room at one of the downtown hotels. She then decided we were going horseback riding, which I had never done.
All I had were some white dress pants and a dress shirt with shoes, etc., but we went anyway. My mother took years before she foregave me (she blamed Teresa) for ruining those pants !! We went horseback riding all day. We then went out to eat and back to the hotel. Later on, she wanted to take me to the club "to show me off" (she said). However, she explained that she drank lots of screwdrivers (boy, did she !!). I, having never drank alcohol before, decided I would attempt to keep up with her. I remember waking up the next day in the hotel. Don't know anything else.
We did lots of stuff for 4 or 5 days, and then went back to our apartment living. I started feeling bad and had to go to the Doctor. I spent the next 3 or 4 days on bed rest - The Doctor said I was suffering from exhaustion !! (I never could keep up with her after that).
