THE FIRST GIFT TERESA GOT ME I was not a big jewelry person when we met, and definitely not gold. She was a gold fanatic, and convinced me to stop wearing some of the silver stuff I had been wearing. At the time, I was helping my Mom and Dad remodel a convenience store they owned. Teresa surprised me by driving from Brentwood to Hendersonville in a car she borrowed from her sister. She went to Bush Jewelers and bought me a gold chain. She was so careful to explain to me what the chain symbolized. I wore it until it fell apart. After the chain fell apart, she surprised me by having a wedding band made for me from that chain. She added 5 diamonds to it, one for each child. I wear it today. |
